Rejoin conversations after a long absence
The account keeps a list of its conversations and lets eligible new member devices join automatically. Returning devices can rejoin after older server records expire, keeping their previous verified state until the new join succeeds; large groups can republish the information needed to rejoin.

- Terminal signals reach the right handler. Terminal signals are delivered after the native handler has made its decision, avoiding conflicting handling.
- Consistent membership decisions. Membership changes use a shared set of checks, and a device takes a join turn only when it can complete it. A delayed add checks the current state again instead of using an outdated decision.
- Steadier message history. Loading older messages keeps the visible messages in place, and message-action buttons stay clear of the pinned date.
- Video frames travel together when there is room. The video sender can send a whole frame together when the connection has enough room, reducing unnecessary spreading of its pieces.
- Return uses current completion suggestions. Pressing Return in the composer completes a suggestion from the text currently being typed, rather than a stale suggestion.
- Retry a failed account registration. A failed registration no longer blocks the next attempt to create an account.
- Readable terminal colours. A forced light or dark theme remains readable against a different terminal background. Full colour is enabled from what the terminal actually demonstrates it supports.
- Call stage uses its actual space. The call stage sizes itself from the room the layout gives it, fixing mismatches caused by an estimate.
- Show when a member list was last verified. While rejoining a conversation, Details dates its last verified member list and explains that it will update after rejoining. The app no longer presents an older list as if it were current.

- More reliable terminal, server and interface tests. Checks compare the complete pasted draft, wait for restored state and membership admission, and observe the intended server replies and cleanup. The automation test also handles a client disappearing after a narrow-window capture.
